It’s kind of ipcircle who share a little installation manual for Xentry users who have problems with Vediamo to work withmb star C3Mux.
First you need aXentry/DASworking with your C3 Mux on Com 2, so you can exclude any problems with Comport configuration, bad .bin files for the mux or blacklistet serials.
If you feel, everything is OK with your C3 Mux on Xentry and DAS, install Vediamo 04.02.02 from here:http://www.mbstartool.com/wholesale/das-developer-module-with-vediamo-scn-database-for-mb-star-c3.html
After installation and copy the patch, start Vediamo Startcenter to see, Vediamo ist working.
Close Vediamo.
Go to : C:\program files\Vediamo\Caesar\driver
Here you have to edit the slave.ini, look for [PartD] and change the com port to 2 like this:
Com=2 ; COM port
Now go to: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Vediamo\Config\
Edit here the vediamo.ini
search for:
USE_SISerialDriver=0 under [CAESAR] entry and change it to:
USE_SISerialDriver=1
Search for:
ShowDefaultSystems=0 under [ECOUTE] entry and change it to:
ShowDefaultSystems=1
Search for:
ComPort=2049 under [PSR] entry and change it to:
ComPort=2
search for:

Create a folder named VediamoData in E:\
In this folder create a folder named cbf and a folder named cff

Connect your mux and start Vediamo StartCenter.exe
You will see your mux in Vediamo Server window with serial Number.

If not, click Update and look for Part D is selected.
Press Update and wait for your mux is showing in the window.
Now we start Ecoute.
Look for the Server message in the left corner.
If you see your c3 mux with serial number, all is fine.
you should see all the ECU cbf files in here.
Close this window.
Go to Extras->Flashdata administration
Click Add
select the E:\VediamoData\cff folder.
If you see all these folders, containing all these cff files, choose down at Files of type->Show folders only
click select. Wait ! It’s depends on your Laptop and could take up to 10 min.
close Flashdata administration.

I have a Mercedes w176 (a gasoline with 270 engine year 2013)
and it is a pain in the ass. The car came with a platform because it would not start. I run a quick test using theSD connect C4 muxand all control units were clear. i tried to start the car but the engine would half turn and stop. Something was cutting it off electrically. Furthermore, with out any obvious reason, the engine fan started working and the communication with the engine was lost. i have discovered that the the engine control was loosing a ground point. that is why the engine fan started. i have put an outside earth and the car came back in engine turning and cutting out electrically. I have tried everything.
checked all fuses and relays (including the mini relays)
replaced terminal 30g relay
replaced exhaust camshaft sensor
checked crank sensor with oscilloscope and looks ok
tried second key
guided test for drive authorization (all ok)
and many many more
still no fault codes.
any ideas are welcome. thank you
Suggestion from the experienced:
The problem with most technically inclined individuals trying to fix a dead engine is that we tend to quickly forget â€THE BASICS†ingredients for combustion to take place just so the engine may run!
1. Check for spark, is it there throughout or intermittently or not there at all,
-Famous L5, ECU, DI coils, e.t.c
2. Check for fuel rail pressure ( challenging on any A-class but doable if u want it to start and run),
furthermore M270 has piezo direct injection. so u have to find a way to confirm that fuel is delivered (repair fuel system accordingly)
3. Check for compression and make reference to specific values inWIS.
(note: this is a discussion in the MH community; just post it here for sharing info only!!!!!!)

I used K-suite 1.93 or 2.10 and works well, but now I have dump from car that this versions not recognize it and I want to use newer software for myKTAG programmer.
Tried install Ksuite 2.28 and 3.21 but on startup give me same error about: "Connection to the internet not detected: check that you have a working internet connection then try again.â€
When I click "OK†Then main menu shows, but almost all are grey. Older versions still work without problem.
How do people think of Ksuite 2.28 or 2.31 start problem? Here you go…

2.25 Last working soft since now
there is no point using this software with your clone
install it, then overwrite it with the 2.11
If CKS not work, Install newer KSuite except the C++ Runtime, and without deinstall, install 2.08.
Then it works.
Did you try with Kess v2 on Bench? Connecting with universal cable? Without Boot Mode?
Kess v2china clone has been verified to work no issues with Ksuite v2.28.
If all not work, then get an MPPS and try. MPPS is always a good backup tool specially for VAG. Some ECUs do so weird things, nobody can explain, this is why most tuners have more than one tool from different companies.
So, choose a lower version ksuite for Ktag clone or a tested ksuite 2.28working perfect with kess v2….
