One customer boughtMB SD C4 plus DELL D630from mbstartoolsend back to us his feedback about using this device diagnose one Mercedes Benz E260 2012.

” Hello, today my shop fixedA mileage of about 27,000 km, equipped with 2.0T engine, 7-speed automated manual transmission, the 2012 Mercedes-Benz E260 sedan. The car owner said : it can not braked .

I first check after receiving brake function, a brake pedal perfect, unable to brake the vehicle. Understood by the relevant maintenance history of the vehicle and found the car in addition to brake discs replaced, no other maintenance records.

I used theMB SD Connect C4Star Diagnostic(DAS) bought from you for the rapid detection of vehicles found stored in the ESP control unit has a fault code 6B2200: not reached the degree of vacuum.

According to the fault code analysis, possible causes are: 1) The brake booster leak; 2) vacuum line leak.

When the engine is running, the vacuum pump through a hose and booster connected to its supply vacuum. The vacuum pump on the disengagement, allowed direct contact with the atmosphere, so that the atmospheric pressure is bound to flow inside the vacuum pump, which issued a sucking sound, but the actual situation is not sound, indicating that the vacuum pump is insufficient or leak.

Then I remove the pump, its obvious that there is an internal drive mechanism gap is too large, after the replacement of damaged pumps, troubleshooting.

Here a simple solution to reactivate:

1. start windows safe mode with commandline (press f8 before windows starts)
   2. in command line type :
   regsvr32 regwizc.dll
   regsvr32 licdll.dll
   rundll32.exe syssetup,SetupOobeBnk(NOTE!! all part of these 3 commands are letters, only "3” and "2” are numbers nothing else)3. reboot to normale windowsxp
   4. download windows xp activator (attached here)
   5. extract and install activator, a command line opens and a few batch comands are executed
   6. after a short time a window pops up showing "windows already activated”
   7. close it and you are done.
   8. reboot

SD connect c4cannot power on when connected with MercedesTourismo bus? Mb star c3 get communication error also when connected to Tourismo? Here’s the customer solution of Mercedes Tourismo bus diagnosis or programming.

Multiplexer complaints:

"I have tried 2 different sdconnect c4 on Tourismo buses andsdconnectdoes not power on.
In the meantime those MB sdconnect C4 works normally to any other MB Truck and car.
also on Tourismo have checkMB Star C3and works normally.”

Device used:

SD connect c4

You should check:

bus with OBD
pin 4 + 5
both must beconnected and ground

In SDConnect"-” is 5 pin only. There is 4 contact not used in 16pin OBDconnector.

Communication complaints:

"i’m getting ancommunicationerrorwhen connecting xentry to a Mercedestourismo.”

Device used:

Mb Star c3 multiplexer

You can try:

– turn OFF/ON BUS ground switch (our remove battery – cable). FPS1 wake up and Star diagnostic recognized FPS1/VIN code.

or

– enter the DAS ATEGO truck come and place manually and then it will work perfect

Coding complaints:

"Currently the speed limit is set to 100 km/h. I’m trying to set it to higher value (with DAS using modified EOL files). On the menu it tells me that I can, because there are higher values (105 km/h. 112 km/h, etc). But when I try to setthe speed limit to higher than 100 km/h it doesn’t allow me to do it (can’t save the changes). When I try to set it below 100 km/h everything goes fine.”
