I tried to find a wiring diagram for a Mercedes-Benz 129 500SL, but it did not come up with anything in the WIS/ASRA program. But when i used the same search method, but for a W210, it brought up several wiring diagrams.
My 129 500SL:

I had no troubleprinting the wiring diagramusing either the icon at top right, or the "file" pull down from menu bar.

In order toproduce a pdf, I simply printed to a utility I have on my computer called Cute pdf that shows up in the list of printers and then saved the file to my main Windows 7 desktop, or anywhere else that I chose.

The other thing you might try, is a Full Text Search (instead of Standard search). Put in a couple of words regarding the system you are interested in and do an advanced search. I came up with all sorts of stuff that related to 129chassis. But did not try to narrow it down.

UPDATE!If you enter the car as a 129 using (chassis Mode, click on all for Major Assemblies (for now). Then click on Table of Contents. A list will appear on lower part ofscreenthat will include wiring diagrams under several sections. Keep clicking and you may find section you need!

We have customer confuse about the MB SD Connect C4 laptop issue. What laptop should i use and why Dell D630 laptop is most used? Can i use other laptops withSD Connect C4?

It depends on which format HDD you choose to buy
1.
If you buy Dell D630 internal hard drive/solid drive (we only have D630 format internal HDD currently), you should install internal HDD on Dell D630 laptopONLY.

2.
If you buy external HDD, there is no laptop limitation. But make sure your laptop meets the requirement.
Star diagnostic External HDD/SSD laptoprequirements:
CPU 2.0
RAM 2GB

better with COM port, if it does not have COMport, you can buyZ-TEK USB1.1 to RS232 Convert Connector(if use MB Star C3) to transfer.
If you use laptop lower CPU2.0 with external HDD, the HDD works but runs rather slow. BTW,external HDD does not support WiFi wireless connection.

Both our customer and engineer tested and verified Dell D630 laptop is the most safe option.

Today I want to share my experience with you. Why I do that simply because I saw a forum post on which I can give advice. It said that recent clone quality has dropped more than usual with goods miss screws and didn’t work as advertised. Actually, from my point of view I still think it is reliable and feasible to buycars diagnostic toolfrom Chinese vendor.

Below is my real experience ofSD Connect C4:

I bought a complete bundle of SD C4 WiFi Diagnostic Tool plus Dell D630 4GB laptop at April this year.

After 3-days delivery to US, I received the package, it is well-packed including mux, cables(8/14/16/38pin), Lan cable, hard disk and Dell D630.

Installation / Activation / Wifi Setting

It is easy to use, software preinstalled and activated, everything is prepared already for me which is very convenient except the Wifi needed to be set by myself, but I got technical support from my vendor soon, they took a video for my reference.

I took apart theMB SD C4’sshell and the PC board like this:

What SD connect can do?

Compared with the external hard drive, the internal hard drive runs much faster, and I just have the multiplexer and laptop to carry to the car, nothing to unplug or fall off. Before got this package, I am told the Dell D630 is second hand, but it’s worth every penny, I used it do to what I want it to. All works good with my W212.

I’ve done stuff like reset the adaptations on my transmission, drive-in adaptations on the transmission, and relearning of the throttle plate and sunroof. I had changed my battery and afterwards the sunroof would not go back smoothly. I went into the relearn function and voila it worked.

In a nustshell withSD Connect C4you won’t have to visit the dealer all that often because you can identify faults in your car.

Where Can I Buy These From?

I understand everyone has their own experience with different vendors, someone say ok, someone say bad, and I agree it is like a draw to buy some tools from China. Problem:
I have the MB account and the engineer confirmed the account can be applied to MB SD Connect C4clone multiplexer.

I need to carry outonline SCN coding, i got the 2016.03 DAS Xentry star diagnostic software.

But came across error before enter login menu.

Error cause:

You should start from Xentry but not DAS.

If the error still exits, please make sure internet connection is well built. Set the computer time to yourlocal time!!! Our engineer recommend to uselatest software (current new versionV2016.05).

Share an easy way to repairSD connect c4multiplexer if your multiplexer is dead, not powering up via any adapter cable.

NOTE:

TRY AT YOUR OEWN RISK!

First open the MB SD C4 main unit. Slide PCB out a little bit, from the connector side, so you can see the units buttons wiring. Carefully pry the lock out & up, after that you can pull the wiring and PCB out.

Then Open 4 Main PCB screws, Carefully wiggle the PCB off from another, it might be pretty tight, so carefully, side from side!

Disconnect the LAN cable, carefully, pretty easy to break the small clip.

Then you can disconnect the Connector PCB, very carefully, might be really thight! Again slowly from both sides. You now have access to the small Fuses.

You can use multi-meter to see if they work, usually the LAN connector side 5A is burnt. So desolder the broken one, install new & enjoy your powering up mux again!

This repairing above requires experienced and professional techniques; or you are suggested to buy a cheap clone MB SD Connect C4 of high quality to replace it. Google to get the good one. I helped to put the first site here for you (no affiliation to the vendor)

Update to the latest Java:

Just Google java and the top option was java.com. Within that option, there was a download option (still on Google at this point)

Click that for the latest Java , now: Java 8, Update 91

Download and install

Hopefully it will get you into EPC as well and it works fine.

Usually, it’s a good way to start working again when you did the latest Java update.
